Terms of Service

Last updated: 3/16/2026

Note: These terms are provided to establish basic guidelines for using TixFlip. By using this service, you acknowledge that you are using it at your own risk. These terms may be updated as the platform evolves.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using TixFlip, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform. TixFlip is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects ticket buyers and sellers - we facilitate connections but are not involved in actual transactions between users.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for your account security and everything that happens under your account. Keep your password safe and don't share it with anyone. If you notice unauthorized activity, let us know immediately at tixflipdev@gmail.com.

Provide accurate information when creating your account. Don't impersonate others or create fake accounts.

3. What You Can't Do

Don't be a jerk. Specifically, don't:

  • Scam people or sell fake tickets
  • Harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users
  • Post false or misleading information about tickets or events
  • Use the platform for anything illegal
  • Spam, phish, or try to hack the platform
  • Create bots or scrape data from the site
  • Violate venue policies or ticket transfer rules

We can (and will) remove users who violate these rules. Serious violations like fraud may be reported to authorities.

4. Buying and Selling Tickets

Important: TixFlip is a listing and messaging platform that connects buyers and sellers. All transactions, payments, and ticket transfers happen directly between users outside of TixFlip.

TixFlip does NOT:

  • Process, handle, or facilitate any payments
  • Hold funds in escrow or provide payment protection
  • Verify ticket authenticity or validity
  • Guarantee that sellers will deliver tickets
  • Guarantee that buyers will pay for tickets
  • Mediate disputes or provide refunds

You are responsible for:

  • Arranging payment methods with the other party (Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, cash, etc.)
  • Verifying tickets are real and transferable before buying
  • Making sure you actually have the tickets before selling
  • Following venue policies and ticket transfer rules
  • Completing transactions honestly and as agreed
  • Resolving any disputes directly with the other party

Use your best judgment: Check seller reviews and ratings, ask questions in the chat, request proof of tickets, and never send payment until you're confident in the transaction. Consider meeting in person for high-value tickets or using payment methods with buyer protection.

Selling fake tickets or scamming people will get you permanently banned and potentially reported to law enforcement.

5. Liability and Risk

Use TixFlip at your own risk. The platform is provided "as is" without any guarantees. We're working to make it reliable and safe, but things can go wrong.

We're not responsible for:

  • Fake or invalid tickets
  • Users who don't follow through on transactions
  • Disputes between buyers and sellers
  • Lost money from scams or failed transactions
  • Technical issues or downtime
  • Any damages that result from using (or not being able to use) the platform

That said, we do our best to remove scammers and provide tools (like reviews, ratings, and user profiles) to help you make informed decisions.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the platform grows. We'll try to notify users of major changes, but it's a good idea to check back occasionally. Continued use of TixFlip means you accept any updated terms.

7. Questions or Issues?

If you have questions about these terms or need to report an issue, email us at tixflipdev@gmail.com.
